Hello, I'm evilforkdude, and I'm obsessed with TF2 =_=I did a human/RED team version of this: [link]
YES I know it is basically the same picture, that's because I drew these at the exact same time in the same .psd file.
MEDIC, WHY U SO EASY TO DRAW? Seriously, this was a freaking walk in the park compared to the other stuff I've been drawing lately.
Medic belongs to Valve, bro. I guess I could add credits to the other picture, too...

I played TF2 for the first time yesterday. But I was put off by the tutorial because they asked me to shoot lots of people in the head and watch them run around screaming with missing body parts. So instead I skipped the tutorials and went straight online and ran around healing everyone. I am the best doctor there is- I even heal enemy spies! Everyone deserves indiscriminatory healing! 8D

Yeah, it is a rather violent video game. It can be a little off-putting since it's so cartoony, too. It doesn't really bother me too much, but I still prefer playing Medic and healing everyone over any of the other classes. I also skipped the tutorial, but that was after watching my brother play for several months, so I already knew the game controls pretty well...

I think my sentiments are very well meaning and I aim to try and live up to them. I banned myself from Mortal Kombat though and after a week was playing it. The controls were just so nice, and Smoke was so cool, and the moves were so much more satisfying than Tekken and Soul Calibur! So I dont entertain much hope for resilience in TF2, though the presence of the medic does mean I can get well into character in a game, so that does bode better.

I think that's part of why I've stuck with TF2 for so long... usually I don't get into FPS type games or fighting games because... I just get bored of the same ole' "get the best weapon and shoot 'em up" thing. It's nice to play a class that is really specialized, but can still do some other things. Plus I just really like the Medic. Particularly his lab coat animation when he runs. So many games don't put in an extra animation for that. I really like it. @_@

I realised yesterday that you can actually get quite a lot of strategy into playing a medic, which is also fun. But I feel terrible because I killed a man. He was shooting the little men I was healing then apparently he wanted to steal our intelligence, and I thought, well I can't have people taking away our intelligence, that will leave us feeling rather stupid. SO I put some syringes in him and he was so busy trying to take our 'intelligence' that he went splat on the floor.

If it makes you feel better, death is pretty impermanent in that game. It's more like you... slowed him down, a lot.

I dont regret trying to saw that enemy medics face off though. He was a betrayal to the school of doctors trying to come at my poor little men with his syringe gun.

Haha, I always go after enemy Medics in-game. I'm like... "You're on MY turf! Get outta here!" only with more swearing and violence. D:<
We should play together sometime... though I've been without a gaming computer for a week or so. I'd probably be able to get on sometime after Thursday.
