usually i draw it on a paper first (because i can draw better and more detailed), then use a scanner or photo to upload pictire in PC.. and make picture colour by using tablet and some graphic editor (SAI, less frequently PS).,

or if imagery is clear in one's mind(?), i draw picture in digital..
