Description On today's menu, Cantonese steamed whole fish.

Its pretty bitchen.

It's part of Cantonese cuisine to not flavor things harshly, and to highlight the flavor of the main ingredients, and showcase its freshness without a lot of other flavors. So this fish is steamed with just some ginger and green onion in the cavity and stuffed in its skin.

The outcome is a beautiful, perfectly cooked fish, with flesh that is lightly perfumed of ginger and onion. Pretty fabulous.
