Wow! I love the colors! The silhouette is amazing as well. It almost doesn't look real! This would make a great graphics piece. I might even try to clone away all the fuzzy branches and just have the stark leafless tree with the bird, just to see what it looks like. It might make it even more stark. Great piece!

i honestly didn't use filter/colors/photshops here. I took it about 1/2 an hour after sunset, and it turned out very dark. then i went brightness/contrast and it turned out this way.
it wasn't too far away, although i did have to crop

there's a not zoomed in photo of the area standing in the same place. the eagle was on the dead tree closest to the water.

It looks like the pictures we took at sunriver w/ the polarizing thingy. I dunno, maybe it's just your camera. Or maybe I'm insane. Okay, that's a given. Moving on...
