Yeah, yeah, the most original, creative title in the WORLD, huh?
But as you have guessed, this is my rendition of Eternal Sailor Jupiter, whom I don't draw NEARLY enough.
Inked with Prismacolor Premier Illustration pens, Jupiter is colored with Prismacolor Premiere Double Ended Markers, and Double Ended Prismacolor Brush tip markers. The background is Prismacolor colored pencil and Art Stix combination. No blenders were used, I just layered the colors repeatedly until I got the look that I wanted.
The background is kind of inspired by the 90's style binders that I used to get and doodle on when I was in high school/middle school. I loved the 60s hippie themes of flowers and peace (forget exactly which age those started turning up) and thought it was perfect for this particular image of Sailor Jupiter. The only thing I'm not thrilled with is her hand, mainly because of it being in an awkward angle that I'm not used to drawing in. But otherwise, I'm thrilled with how this turned out!
