Description
Well, the third and installment in the trilogy of "The Deviant". Yes, you are witnessing the end of the line, not only for the deviant but for me as well. I’m taking a very, very long break from AVS, well…….in a way. I won’t be making anymore “original” work anymore, there’s an explanation in the Intro, I’ll not waste description space for this. Not to worry though, I’ll be around; I wouldn’t dare miss any of your presetsSo what to expect from my third pak? Well, hopefully some pretty original works; I won’t give you any initial inklings, you’ll just have to think for yourselves
Please know I only watch and design presets in a window about the size of 250 x 250, and I get over 30fps for each of the presets in the pak at that size, most get over 35. Please read the comments for there are some hidden goodies in some of the presets
Also, I test all the presets on both Winamp 2 and 3, and the were always 5-10 fps slower on Winamp 3, so I recommend using Winamp 2.
A huge shout out to Degnic for helping a NSIS clutz get this into respectable, self-executing form.

Dilation (fire water remix) - LOOOVE the yellow/blue color mix! the liquid effect is aloso great
Resiudal Stress - Really nice liquid effect there (again) i liked it best with the purpla and black color-setting
Uncalm - (scatter brained remix) - OH!! PRETTY!! really nice use of the scatter effect... i love it!
The pack overall is supa-good man!!

Well isn't this a sorry scene..(fuk, not the pack! ) how many of us have left already. hmm, retirement seems to be catching on. But we all know avs...you can only really ever stop it for a VERY VERY short while. After which the twitching in you fingers begins, the weird visions start coming, and the only way to stop them, is to start up avs again! Believe me, I KNOW!!

Hey, im back with my review
The Intro - Ah, the intro. I like it. Especially the DM, its just seems so right with the 'mood' (you know, that you are leaving for a while and stuffs ) and the scopes too, i dont know why I like the scopes, maybe they are better than mine
Cleanroom - One of my favourite, the color blending in this one is just nice, but what really makes this preset, a really cool preset is the glow effect just beautiful
Cleanroom(infested and infected remix) - Its not clean anymore...nevertheless it's still awesome
A Rough in the Diamond & the remix - Ah, I was so touched by this preset, sitting there, in front of my pc, watching it for quite a while, its nice to know that someone is appreciating my work
Dilation & the remixes - Love the color combination. Especially fire water remix, and the DM you used, its awesome, love them
Martini & the remix - This is why you are one of my fav AVSer, you really know how to make those awesome blending, the effect just stunned me
Sound Circles(evilrice spectral signal rmx) - Interesting preset, works with slow songs!~
Insat & the remix - haha, you are really dirty and nasty eh? Well, it is indeed one of my favs too, just love to see the colors
Residual Stress & the remixes - Love all the remixes, the colors especially are cool and awesome. Love the effects too! Yay! You really the Effect Master eH?
Intermission - With all the DMs, the 3D effects, and all that new stuffs that coming in AVS, who could forget about old skool presets? In this preset, you have shown me (or us) the true power of old skool
Intermission(nano enhancement remix) - old skool + DM = kick ass presets. Well, its not that kick-ass, but then, just love that effect, very beat responsive too
Florafice & the remixes - What can I say, they are cool and unique
Optical Melody & the remix - I like this one better than the original one that you've made before, cause it's more dynamic
Smooth - I've seen this one in Skupers Recycled Logic pak. Very very high requirements on the eyes EVIL!
Rejunct & the remix - Cool effect, nicely done. But it's too dark for me, its ugly....
Uncalm & the remixes - All three are my favourites, they just blow my mind out, no wonder you are one of the respectable AVSer
Scopstic - Last preset from you, and its a collab between you and Tugmeister. When two of you working together, one beautful preset is the result!~

It's a good pack, but in my opinion it's "only" a good pack...
I guess i was expecting something more, some ground breaking ssc work was i expecting. But didn't find any
You have some good techniques with the colors and the trans effects, but often there was just too much stuff and some color tricks just were not my taste Example Martini Mix looks sweet, but the colors are ugly in my eye.
I do like the pack, but it's not going into my favs.

Still i hope you hang around in devart, because the place just wouldn't be the same without you.

omfg...this is more than just a superb "farewell" pack(?) Things like Dilation and Martini blow my mind!!
You've done a great remix pack here, this should go to my favorites with no doubt. (poor me, my proxy server doesn't like javascript too much) I hope you'll stick with DA society although you won't make avs pack anymore in the future. I've just added u to my devwatch!

Great intro with a terrible name sweet colors and it has a great look.
Cleanroom:
woot, no interleave used?? Very stylish & original look and colors looks nice as always.

This one looks even better. Mono colors looks way cool, and the alpha works great, I'm glad my code helped you with this.
A rough in a Diamond:
Like I said before, really cool & technically stunning preset. It's very responsive too. Nice one

hmmm, not my faves of the pack, but not bad preset at all.

My personal fave of the pack !!!It's in my personal top3 avs preset what I've Ever seen (no doubt about that) Ultimate colors, what a fantastic look and it's really responsive. I just could watch this for hours.
Sound circles (evilrice spectral signal remix):
Can't say much about this one. It looks nice, but it's a bit static and gets quite boring after awhile..

Damn i am gonna be late for lectures, but more important first- you can't leave dude. I tried. Didn't work. I am here quite often, just that the work is slower. So don't fight it. AVS is addictive.
From what i have seen so from the "demice" i simply adore the "clean room" infected mix. Catch ya later for mo'

Usually, I look down when artists submit multiple versions of the same preset, let alone remixes in their own packs. However, in "Demise" of the Deviant, Evilrice has created some of the most interesting remixes to come out of AVS. His 'straight clubbin' mix of "Optical Melody" is soft & sexy & superb. The digi-ovum rework of "Florafice" is undoubted one of the most intricate remixes out there. If you want a mix, then the Rice-man is where you go.
I'm sorry to see you leave, I really enjoyed your stint in AVS & it's hard to imagine that you've found the limits of your abilities. I look at something like "Dialated" & I'm just blown away. There's always a new effect waiting to be discovered. But if you believe that now is a good time to bow out, then I guess you're the only one who can make that desicion. In any case, I hope you have fun with whatever you're doing & I give you one month before you return to the beautiful world of AVS. Keep on visualizing.
