i just wanted to say that Jasper's axe in this looks incredible. That's a beastly badass of a weapon for a beastly badass of a woman.
And the way Pearl is so delicate and so powerful in her arms, it's just getting my tiny little heart bursting with joy
And to see Jasper kiss her right on the gem, that's some serious love and trust.
I love the color palette of this as well, the dark coppery colors make this look like a sunset after a long day of battle. As someone who long identified as an action writer, this picture fits with my idea of what perfect beast champion warriors look like.

I tried something new with colors! I googled for "autumn sunset leaves" and made a color palette from there
Pearl is fully capable of walking by herself, but Jasper likes carrying her around (it makes Jasper feel good for a lot of reasons, some of which is Pearl's butt, another part is that she doesn't want to lose Pearl if there is a sudden ambush or something)
Jasper is proud of Pearl! they spent a long time fighting before this picture.

Well you managed to draw Pearl as both powerful and also trusting. As the song says, she is strong in the real way.
