I love shots that show your eyes.
...and you do look a bit maniacal. It's as if you just caught a glimpse of a flying golden armadillo and you've been chasing after it so you can kill the sucker.

I really like the overall desaturation of the piece. As a result the lips and eyes stand out beautifully, and the hair looks delicate set against this.

Some folks get on here and they only like to bash those who put forth the effort, and risk, of exposing themselves through their art.
No, I did not call you Satan. I used it as an example. Words alone, such as the notes passed between Deviants, is numb and expressionless - there is no body language to read. We are not able to look at one another and know all the time what is a joke and what is not. One's mood at the time of reading the note makes a definitive difference in their interpretation of it.
Perhaps I may have come across a bit harsh, huh? I apologize if I offended you. Anyway, I will check out your work, later, if you would like me to.

Wasn't bashing. This shot is great and Maria knows that and doesn't need me or another deviant to tell her that. I figured I'd poke a little fun at the fact that she explicitly point out that her eyes were not grey even though, to me the color of her eyes in this shot actually adds to the desaturated mood. Didn't realize it would go as far as to tick off a random visitor to her page.
If you'd like to check out my work that's a different matter altogether. I wish more people would come to my page and tell me what they REALLY thought of my stuff instead of some gently worded critique or a flat out lie of a compliment. I don't need people on the internet to be nice to me. I've already got enough real life friends who will lie to me to avoid hurting my feelings if I want that. Everyone is so afraid to upset some kind of balance by saying what they really think.

I will give you compliments, no differently than what I do for my friends. However, if you want to know the rest of my opinion - "like it is," as they say - you must ask, for I will not give it without invitation. However, like my friends, I will warn you: do not ask me if you are not willing to listen to what I will say. Otherwise, you may be better off just accepting my compliment.
I have found greater success uplifting people - driving them towards their inspirations - than "telling it like it is." When I "tell it like it is," is as I see it, not anyone else. That is why I disagree with "telling it like it is." Food for thought.
