Aw..that's sweet. Kind of reminds me of a Japanese holidays where they two starts (representing two lovers) finally meet. but only for a day..

I'd suggest sharpening the bottom half of the picture. It goes from being detailed at the top to blurry at the bottom. Otherwise it's a beautiful picture.

cool concept, metaphorical as well. Giving the planets atmosphere around the surface as well is a nice detail. I wish the image of the couple on the beach was of the same resolution/quality as of the planets, though it does serve to provide focus towards the planets, as if the couple were out of focus. Nice photoshop/manipulation around the clouds and the lens flare-type effect is effective. Overall pretty solid stuff!

I'd say its decent. The planets are pretty good, but your star field is way over done. Stars don't need to be everywhere, in fact it usually looks a lot better to diversify a star field a lot by having some areas with clusters of stars, others with just a few stars, and some spaces of emptyness. Coloring glow from stars is also a nice touch, but again this seems a bit excessive. I have seen a few effective times when very multi-colored stars glowing has worked well, but in my experience (limited though it may be) it is very hard to do. As with numbers of stars, the glow could use to be subdued a little. Then again, it can sometimes be very effective to have something like that stand out more, but then it is usually highly textured to appear like space dust, as opposed to just a flat glow.
Back to planets, the only comment I have on them is that their atmosphere seems a bit splotchy. There are few areas where it seems to dissappear, like along the bottom of the planet on the left. This is fine if the planet is blacking out due to lighting, but in this instance the atmosphere disappears only to reappear when its even more blacked out.
As to the bottom. Its a nice concept, and since its built from stock imagery, I have no critique for it.

This is a lovely deviation, dear.. I especially like the color tone you used and of course the romance within it, but you must tell me, how do you create a dev with planents like this?

oh, i was stunned when i saw the planets, space and all, but however then quite disappointed, when i scrolled down. i think the bottom part should be more sharp, good work and idea though. i also started to make art in photoshop last week and its not so easy as one could think. if you are interested, look into mine gallery . the latest two pictures are done in ps.
