Description OK, I DID A THING!!!

This is Scolopendra subspinipes mutilans, the Chinese red-headed centipede or, as the Japanese call them, the "Mukade".
They can be 20 cm long, and are venomous.

This was drawn with a HB pencil, and colored with water soluble pencils. Highlights done with acrylic paint.

So, I like centipedes. They are scary, but beautiful (sorry for the pleonasm...).
So, I drew one. Here you have it, my first deviation in months. Hope you enjoy it!

The feconstruction is very well done, I love it. One nitpick for the description though, they are venomous not poisonous.

Yeah, I heard that the two word have different definitions...

The problem is that the Portuguese language works in a different way, so there is no distinction between the two words.
So I really don't know the difference between poison and venom.

I'll look it up, though. Thank you for the warning!

Centipedes are incredibly underrated in general. They're badass.

When I first saw it I thought It might have been for me. I had a open request in one of my journals for a giant house centipede to eat giant bird mites off feathered dinosaurs why they sleep. In the day time a early bird fills the same niche you know except for it being in the daytime. Well that is the way it works in my story.

Interesting symbiosis concept.

Well, this centipede is quite an aggressive one and probably, if it possibly found one, it would even eat a baby dinosaur.
This centipede eat rats, snakes, birds, lizards... It's crazy!

There's a video on Youtube of one eating a gecko. It's almost pitiful, the poor lizard didn't have a chance!

Anyway, hope you liked it, and thanks for commenting!
