Ifrit, the spirit of fire !Done with: pencils.
I was kinda inspired by Joe Madureira's style for the body.

I love the way you drew him. To me the features that stand out the most are his hair, horns and earring. Love the shading, too.

And I didn't draw flammes or things like this... if you remember FF7 for example, Ifrit looks more like a muscled demon than a "fire creature", Ifrit is not made of fire ^^

Never played in FF7, but I know who you're talkin' about, saw the concept arts.
Yeah, I know the mere concept of Ifrit, ostly as fire ginni, but I get the picture. But maybe add a little cartoonish flame to say "this is fire creature, idiots, stop asking!" 8D.

Yes in the final version there are flames around, but I prefer this one to show on Deviantart ^^

I hate doing backgrounds, too, but that's why doing my comic version of the SCI FI Channel miniseries TIN MAN is a good challenge -- It forces me to draw backgrounds, even though I am technically drawing them from when I pause in the show.
