Description
Aqualus would technically be a character in my story, but it is not really about dragons and so they are just there in the background, living their life.
Aqualus is an adult dragon who was born without fully grown wings or horns and is not able to fly. They also do not possess magic or the typical shapeshifting abilities that dragons normally have. They have always longed to be in the sky with other dragons. And they like to jump from cliffs over the sea to try to feel like they are flying, but they always feel sad once they hit the water.

In my world, Traveia, dragons are born looking similar to how Aqualus does. They are born in dull colors, and without horns, patterns, or any identifying features; including the fact that they are born genderless. Once the dragonet is born, its features appear and change based on its surroundings, feelings, and items that it enjoys. This process takes approximately a week, by the end of which, the dragonet will look entirely unique and its form will no longer change.
Unfortunately Aqualus didnt have any special characteristics form during the week after their birth besides the bright sky-blue of their eyes, wings and ears; a trait which they developed from their awe while looking up at the sky.
