Kiwanos are arranged in a caste system; At the bottom are those with one gem, middle those with two gems and Royals are those with three gems.
Kiwanos are nocturnal so their eyes, tips of tail glow.
They hang upside down to sleep but at night, they wrap their tail up with a string, bandage, bracelet, etc. so it will not get in the way of hunting.
They can voluntarily turn off the glow of everything but their eyes so, when attacking, they must keep their eyes closed.
Kiwanos with their eyes naturally closed have better hearing.
Kiwanos' pupils are a lighter color than their eye.
