One last photo from my zoo trip on friday.
at the local zoo they have an australian area with a walk in bird exhibit. Its fun to watch the birds fly around in their little groups. This group of Princess parrots sounded like they should have been called laughing hyena parrots 
they were cackling like no tomorrow I think to attract the attention of a certain female who was avoiding them

ive never heard one make noise at the pet shops, they always look lonely which is a shame. he looks like a happy chappy, cant see why the ladies wernt interested

That red around the beak is awesome. It makes it stand out among other birds. I love your use of focus, I can see the texture of the feathers so well. Lovely picture!
