Amazing detail! You got almost all of the wing in the focus plane. And that at 1/60s handheld?
I love how you got just about close enough so one can see the scales and their colours.

flutterby wings are so pretty. At a fossil store at one of the malls here in Portland, they sell butterfly wing necklaces.. they're gorgeous.

they're real. Pieces of the wings are set into either circles or triangular frames and enclosed in glass and hung on a necklace. They are absolutely gorgeous! I'd show you a picture, but they don't have them on their website. [link] There's the website if you want to look around.
