This is the first photo on here of yesterday's trip to my favorite Zoo of Cincinnati home of my favorite White Lions of Timbavati that were soooooooooooooooo unactive that day *grumbles* grrr lazy lions LOL anywho gotta love this old guy too ^_^ he always has such a personality that makes you wonder what he is thinking. Here is another photo of him [link] one of my much older photos from my first year in photography class

I'm pretty sure this is Colossus. He was born in the wild in 1966 and died 9:30 am on April 11th 2006

"Colossus, one of the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden’s most beloved western lowland gorillas, died at 9:30 a.m. on April 11, at the Cincinnati Zoo. The 40-year-old silverback gorilla died during a medical procedure at the Zoo’s Animal Hospital. A team of veterinarians, animal care staff, and human dental and cardiac specialists were called in to perform a root canal on a broken canine tooth and to perform a routine physical examination, including a cardiac evaluation. While under anesthesia, Colossus went into cardiac arrest and could not be revived."
