I have never drawn a rhino in my life before. I have tried to sketch an elephant once but that's about it. Why I felt so compelled to paint this and let alone on an 23.5in x 19.5in canvas! It's explained in my Youtube video which I'll link below. My project, Malaysian Beauties, is to paint local animals found in the wild but as a city girl, I love animals yet I dont know anything about the animals found in my own country. I can safely but unfortunately say that goes to a lot most of the city folks as well. As education for jobs rise, who cares about the wild? All we know is there are amazing wildlife in America and Canada because of National Geographic Wild Channel. And I think it's a very bad mistake. Because we don't know what lives within the forest, the leaders are just happily chopping away more forest areas and the people don't even know about it! I hope you'll take an intrigue in my project. I heard a quote once before, it went something like this; "If you think the Environment is more important than Money, then try to hold your breath while you count your cash".
