Entry for `s contest - Emotion

I have awesome title for it don`t I? 8D;;

When I heard about the contest I thought the easiest thing to do is draw something pretty and sad. Because an emotion is mostly noticed when it contrast the object that expresses it. (ex. Sad beautiful girl, smiling ugly freak etc.) but then again that was too easy and too simple. Emotions are all around us right? You, me, your buddy next to you so I thought to try something much different. Something not pretty. Something that can`t be expressing emotions. Something not in pretty shinny colours. Considering I watched "I, Robot" some weeks ago this idea popped into my head.

So yes.. here is a robot who is not some fancy sexy mecha with giant guns nor looks like a human. It is something alone and forgotten in a lab without any questions on why it was left alone there. It stares at one living friend that grows right underneath it`s arms and admires how its friend grows, changes, blossoms and realizes the difference between a living and an artificial being. A sad truth that gave birth to a tear and the emotion and the line between the machine and the living being was crossed.

BUT ROBOTS CAN NOT CRY!

So yes this is my explanation behind this pic.
Also I wanted to kill my hands drawing a robot because as you know that ain`t my strong point lol >_>;;; and the challenge was awesome.
