Description Another attempt from me to draw something from the mind, I'm still working further on this drawing, though this Imperial guardsman is already done. Just trying to draw a background onto it.. A lot harder then I thought.

Hmm, for the background you could make the shadows a bit longer to the left to create a bit more of a dramatic effect. Adding cracks in the wall or bullet holes might make the wall more 'personal' and interactive with the drawing.
The pose itself is pretty interesting, but it's kind of creepy how he stares right at you. I know it's difficult, one of the most difficult things to do, but try and draw 3/4 sides of faces. As if he is planning to look around the corner soon, you know what I mean?
Hope this helped

I'm working on the bullet holes and cracks as you speak. I'm finding it pretty tough job in itself since I never really did it before. But we'll see how it ends up.

As for the 3/4th. I know what you mean. Still, its bloody hard to get that looking right

You learn as you go, right?

I know, it's something I'm still struggling with, but if you pull it off, it'll be a great achievement ^^
