The Gapuri are actually really big on physical contact! Hugs and touches are common greetings. They are highly social

Whoa damn! Unwarranted touching of tendrils is a big no-no, the customs around that are pretty specific. So if you haul off and basically "tendril kiss" them you're in for a beating.

Yeah, I wouldn't imagine I'd enjoy people touching my tendrils if I was a Gapuri.
Ears are basically your face if you're a Sunivian. They express emotion (mostly involuntarily, so lying is a very rare thing there) with them, and it's the other Sunivian's way of recognizing you. So if your ears are hurt, your basically doomed to be a faceless mute. A sign of extreme trust, ordinarily just between lovers, trusted family, and very close friends is to bow your head and allow them to pat your ears.

Yeah, they speak with cricket-like noises made in their vocal chords, which are little more than strings with little microscopic bristles that rub together.
I know, that's one reason I think having a subforum would be nice for every project.

Yeah. I still haven't figured out everything about the Sunivian Chirps. I am going to try to completely make their psychology from scratch, make them think as different as I can get them too compared to humans.

Gapuri will sleep in some crazy positions too, all twisted around and stretched out haha, Soluth curls up a lot though. Like a big blue, hairless..split jawed...noodle armed...cat...thing.

You know, I haven't actually given a lot of thought to this. I'm leaning towards warmer just because their body needs to be able to adapt to a pretty harsh hot season. I imagine that the internal organs would be able to withstand pretty high temperatures.

I'd say...a little over an hour or so? I wasn't keeping track, I did the line work last night for maybe 15-20 minutes and did the colors this morning. Most of the time was taken when I did the coloring.
