Description
This illustration was designed for the Marvel VS Capcom 3 contest that Capcom held.I was selected as winner among all the Spanish participants.
I tried to make something different to what one could expect in that kind of contest (manga/anime and american comic style drawings) so I took the risk, selected some Marvel and Capcom's characters and adapted them to my own style.

The only bad point is that actually my illustration didn't make it into the comic book, because Marvel took only the most traditional ones...but it's ok, I'm still one of the winners though.

No Problem. Thats really lame that it didn't make it in... It would seem to me if your making a art book or comic book you woudl want somethign so vibrant and untraditional like this piece to attract attention. This would be my first choice if i was making an artbook! But as you said your still one of the winners!

I'm still not sure, the Capcom guy asked me for the high-res image and I hope it gets published in the artbook...cause I asked him directly but they're now on holiday till the 4th and I won't get response till then.

Unfortunately they're not asking for more pics, it was a contest for Europe divided into 4 countries (Germany, Italy, Spain and UK) and the winner entries may be featured in the artbook if Capcom decides so.

buena composicion.. 6 personajes 3 de cada compañia...
ademas a cada uno le has dado un buen trabajo individual. .....

A mi la composición no me gusta demasiado porque cometi un error en el planteamiento (hice la composicion para los personajes y no los personajes para la comosicion) y luego tuve que ingeniarmelas para que todo encajase...
Lo que más me gustó y lo más chungo a la vez fue adaptar a cada uno a mi estilo.

Buenísimo, ese hulk me encanta! En general muy bueno en tu línea! Quizás lo que menos me guste del montaje final, sea las lineas estas marrones por todo el dibujo, en plan "vintage", para mi gusto igual "ensucian" demasiado (teniendo en cuenta que ensuciar es su función)

me gusta el diseño final, la combinacion de lila-amarillo queda muy resulton y le hace un favor al resto de la ilustracion, pues la resalta mucho ^^
