DOWNLOAD THE FILE FOR A WALLPAPER IN SIZES 1152x864 AND 1600x900!I wanted to make something special for my good friend so I took his original character Teresha (the girl) and adapted her to my own style and included her in an illustration with my own characters, L.A Kaiju FAM.
L.A Kaiju FAM accepts Teresha as a member, even tough she's not a kaiju, but as they are friends they are glad to have her between them!
Don Antler leads the way to the city and the newcomers, Mudds and Teresha, follow him!
They come down the montain to give the city a hard time!

I think this is a very well done illustration. the style is so cute. i love the characters and the way this was done. I think you've got the composition down pretty well, it is actually very well composed, and I would not change much. If you wanted to push this further I would find a way to add more depth. You've indicated that with shadows and making one of the characters further back. Why don't you make the foreground darker, and the trees get lighter and a little more blue as they recede? You've done that with the mountains. As with the last character, Mudds, you can try making him lighter in color so he appears further back. It would become much easier to differentiate between the characters. They can be viewed separately, he almost can get lost with Teresha because they are similar in color. Hope this helps!

Yup, that's right...I didn't have a formal art education myself due to many reasons and errors and I try to make my best everyday to compensate.

Oh... Well, you turned out really good! I mean, you didn't take any art classes? You pick up certain theories pretty well. Some people take years to understand. With art school, it's supposed to get you from point A to point B faster than learning by yourself, but of course, it's much more costly.

I wanted to study arts but my parents encouraged me to study something different as the didn't think art could be a stable job.
I made my best to be good at other things but I finally went back to my origins...I guess you cannot pretend to be something you're not and be happy.
So here I am, waking up day after day with the only thought and obsession of being succesful no matter how...

Haha... that's actually a great story. Well, I think you will be successful. You have cute characters and you have style. Successful artists are willing to work hard to achieve that. I've seen a lot of apathetic art students; which I just think they haven't quite found their true motivation, but I also see that the hard workers always churn out plus work. So... yeah.
