Once upon a time, TNP Corporation had semi-independent subdivisions. These subdivisions usually specialized in specific things. Corvus Combined Arms was dedicated to heavy shock troops, and their signature troopers were the Immolatus Incendria. Equipped with very heavy armour and nuclear fusion beam cannons, they could often be found taking the lead in all-out urban warfare.

In post-War times, this sort of overkill is no longer considered necessary on an individual level; if a building must be levelled, it is done by one normal trooper with an APW or an antimatter grenade, instead of five guys in bulky armour with nuke guns.
