Description This is part of my new painting that is still in progress. It is painted with Illustrator CS6 in a mixture of the pen tool and gradient meshes (100% vector). I hope to finish it in 2 to 3 months. Until then I always upload finished pieces.

Thank you very much for your nice comment. But the clock is only a small part of the overall picture: Apocalypse  I worked out the other parts just as meticulously. Overall, it took me more than a year for the entire picture. My most elaborate picture is this one: London - Piccadilly Circus 1966   I needed almost two years including research, painting and designing a magazine that describes the content of this painting.

Right now I'm in my photorealistic phase. My other styles will soon again be the focus of my work. This is my tactic to survive creative idle phases. So I'm always artistically active and do not waste precious time.

As an artist (and you're a good artist as your work proves) you know that yourself. So I'm not telling you anything new. Anyway, I wish you all the best for your future.
