Description This is a statue made of sheet steel, the face is made of layers cut out and welded together, an amazing piece of work. The statue is in Seaham (near Newcastle), it was loaned to the town by the artist for a year but the local residents had a massive fund raising year and bought it for the town.
This drawing took a long long time because of all the fine detail, approx 80 hours with my trusty bic crystal ball point pen

Thanks, not many biro artists about.  Started up a facebook group called Biiro artists but not found anyone interested in joining in yet. If you are FB savvy maybe you could give me a bit of advice about how to widen the net.
