Thank you for your comment, I am not sure to understand your question affirmation but if it concerns After Effect. I use the Videocopilot Element 3D plugin that integrates a 3D PBR rendering engine directly into the composition of After Effect. Efficient and friendly user interface. You can download a demo on the videocopilot.net website. A very nice vfx tools to work with. Like a game engine and easy to play with shader. There is even the Sub surface scattering that I have not exploited yet.

I parked AE as a video editing tool but this plugin make it totally different.
