Doom is my favorite game ever, and the cyberdemon is still so awesome.
I screwed up this drawing in a lot of ways, but I'm posting it anyway, because that's how we Doom players roll! >:]

Yeah, I was really little then, maybe 5 or 6 at the most. My parents were really overprotective and didn't want me exposed to violent games. Nothing they can do now, though! ^.^

These features are on the original character. Search around for "cyberdemon" and I'm sure you'll find plenty of other images of him.

Man I love Doom 1 (PC Demo) and 2 (GBA)... they were my first ever FPS games... I was too young to be scared!
...but then I played Doom 64 and actually got scared of playing XD (Teleporting enemies in the dark! The game was REALLY dark XD)
Imps, Pinkies and the Skeleton guys (Revenants) were my favorite enemies.

Ah. You played a couple of the oddball ones. Doom 64 was a weird offshoot by Midway. The GBA versions are really cut-down, too. I like to stick to the original PC series (Ultimate Doom, Doom 2, and Final Doom).

Which I couldn't have any real access to back in the day... only had the shareware Pc version (the one where you get killed by a dark room full of demons in)
I've played the 32x and SNES versions too... yeesh I'd say

Seriously. Once you pick it up, suddenly ALL the other guns get tossed to the side as special-purpose-only things.

If you keep your distance you can sidestep the rockets. Then you just have to deal with all the lost souls in the level.
Well, in his Doom 1 appearance, anyway. I still think that's the greatest game ever.

You know, many people have held that opinion until the point comes in which they actually have to use it in a deathmatch against someone with a rocket launcher.
Especially if that someone knows all the weird quirks of the BFG. For example, did you know that it's possible, given certain common circumstances, to stand right next to where the shot hits and take no damage? You just have to make sure the user can't see you at the moment of impact. : O

Awesome to the max dude! Doom was a fricken great game! Do you remember the part in Doom 2 where there is a Cyber Demon right next to a Spider Mastermind? You can get those two to fight if you do it right. Itβs funny to watch.
