Description
On September 1, 2004, more than a thousand school children and adults were taken hostage in a school in Beslan, North Ossetia.

355 died, 155 of whom were children.

I saw a picture of a mother and daughter comforting each other in the aftermath of the Beslan hostage crisis,
and I was captivated.
I just had to draw it.

I dedicate this to all the victims of the unfortunate Beslan siege.
