Thx for all your comments, I have since changed to a Nikon D70 but as you know its the camera that takes the pic the photographer makes the pic.
By the way some of the best shots I've ever took came from a Minolta SLR Film camera, by using film it makes you a better Digi-photographer because you gotta learn more about exposures , Apertures etc. Plus film has a much better exposure latitude than digital.
