Description

Well I had a sudden burst of creative energy and so, here's "E" - an Each-Uisge, or water horse. Malevolent spirits from Celtic folklore, they live in the sea or in lochs and can shapeshift into handsome young men to seduce women...although they're just as likely to kill anyone (and anything) in their path, haha. They also have a penchant for persuading people to ride them while in horse form...and then drowning the unsuspecting people by dragging them into the water.

I originally sketched this out intending to do the same line-art style I've been employing for awhile now, and then I said, screw it - I'm just gonna straight up paint it in photoshop. I had lost confidence in my abilities after a few pieces I attempted in this style didn't come out very well, and so avoided it for over a year. But I think I got my groove back with this creepy creature! Unfortunately now it doesn't match the other four things I've done in this series, but oh well.
