its a wordplay. Smores are cookies with chokolate and marshmallows. and S'More stands here for some more and smore a the same time. the marshmallow in the picture is growing cuz the air inside the marshmallow (in form of many little bubbles) made the marshmallow grow (since air spread when getting heated) even though not one marshmallow would grow that big. It is just a joke

The funny thing is that a marshmallow can actually expand. I put them in the microwave to try and make s'mores an easy way and it caused them to expand, just not in perfect shape as here in the comic strip.

Ever have those giant "campfire marshmallows" that are like 4x bigger than regular marshmallows. Those are so gross, they don't ever cook properly and have this uncanny ability to never toast. I also had the misfortune to have it as strawberry flavored....
