Description
The man known as Korvac in this alternate Marvel Universe is Korvac Ogord, a member of the extraterrestrial Eternal race called the Spartoi and brother to Lord Stakar Ogord aka Starhawk the ruler of the galactic civilization known as the Spartoi Empire.

Korvac is the second son of the former ruler of the Spartoi Empire, Lord Janus Ogord, and an Eternal/Spartoi who besides the normal Eternal enhanced physical attributes possesses an enhanced analytical computer like mind. Because of this Korvac has an almost machine like perspective of the world around him and thus conducts all of his activities/affairs from a cold and logical perspective. Korvac is also a genius level computer/cybernetics expert who has used his cybernetics knowledge and skills to augment his own enhanced physical abilities as well as provide him with various cybernetic weapons, tools and interface capabilities that allow him to override and control all forms of technological machinery no matter its point of origin. Korvac’s cybernetic weapons enhancements gives him the ability to generate and manipulate an array of various types of energies, from electrical energy to cosmic level radiation.

During the Spartoi Empire’s war with the Badoon Empire, Korvac’s cold logic leads him to ally himself with the Badoon when he temporarily ascends to the rulership of the Spartoi Empire after his brother is lost and presumed dead and his father is killed during a strategic strike against the Spartoi homeworld of Arcturus IV by the Badoon. Korvac’s sees the Badoon as a means to an end to finally allow him to create his own legacy of conquest since the Spartoi Empire has long since abandoned expanding its territories by way of conquest. Korvac’s plans for himself and the Spartoi Empire were halted however with the return of Stakar, who as the rightful heir to the rulership of the Spartoi Empire, claimed his birthright and rallied the worlds of the Spartoi Empire against the Badoon resulting in their eventual defeat. Korvac was regarded as a traitor to the Spartoi Empire for his continued alliance and aid to the Badoon after the return of Stakar, thus fleeing from Spartoi Empire Space after the war along with the Badoon.

Korvac still sought to gain control of the Spartoi Empire however and when he learns of Stakar and an honor guard of Spartoi warriors traveling to a distant planet known as Earth, the world that Stakar had resided on during the time he was lost, he and a contingent of Badoon Elite followed seeking to eliminate Stakar. Arriving on Earth Korvac’s learns the reason why Stakar has returned to this seemingly backwater world. While repairing his damaged spacecraft in order to return to the Spartoi Empire, Stakar had become romantically involved with one of the female natives of the planet, Meredith Quill. Quill had, unknown to Stakar, birth a child after he had left and now Stakar sought to bring both mother and child back to the Spartoi Empire. Kovac and his Badoon allies attempted to assassinate Stakar and his new family, but faced strong resistance from Stakar and his Spartoi honor guard. Korvac and his allies were unable to to succeed in their goal to eliminate Stakar or the child however Korvac himself was able to kill Meredith Quill further elevating the antagonistic relationship between himself and his brother.

Over the intervening years since his last encounter with his brother, Korvac has traveled to various technologically advanced civilizations enhancing his knowledge and cybernetic abilities in order to further augment his power and strength to allow him to finally gain control of the Spartoi Empire, which he has recently done. However his reign has of course not gone over with out opposition from various sectors of the Spartoi Empire lead primarily by his brother Stakar and Stakar's now adult son, Jasun. Korvac has gathered a powerful coalition of allies which include factions of the Badoon as well as other warlike races he has encountered over the years enhancing his power, to help him maintain control of the Spartoi Empire and attempt his long desired expansion through conquest agenda.
