It's a very interesting experiment, i like the end result a lot!
Since you have submitted this photograph for feedback, here are some suggestions for you:
I like the space around the subject but on my opinion the space below the main subject is a bit disproportional to the space above and to the left side. i'd try to add something around 0,5-1 cm more space below using content aware tool, and maybe crop a tiny little bit fro the left side. You might like to try it yourself and see if you like it
The other thing you might like to try here as well is to play a bit with lights and shadows on the flowers, so this way you'll be able to create even better 3d feeling.
Anyway it's a very interesting, good presented picture with nice focusing and interesting colour choice. I like it

I tried to do what you suggested, but the picture was not cropped so I could not add any space below. Instead I tried something a bit different with cropping to maybe get a similar effect. Is that about what you had in mind?

It's a nice one! I'd say for my personal taste you cropped from the left side a bit too much. To such a crop i wouldn't add the space below. I'd say try to crop no more then 0,5cm from the left but to keep what you added below. I guess would be a bit more balanced.
Nevertheless both pictures are quite nice with composition.
And i'd add a tiny little bit more light on some parts of the light on the flower.
At least if you try it would be a great exercise for you, even if you won't like the result at the end, it's nice to experiment.
And i still like the colours you choose here

Thank you so much for your patience! I wrote as answer, why I would like to join Photographyguide, that perfect cropping is what I am most unsure about. So thank you for helping me to learn it!
I made two more versions and I think the last one is the best from all so far.
What do you think? Improvement? Or still more to correct?
