Tulsi is a controversial figure (pun slight intended) sure. her politics seems to have change drastically, the short version is that she's has a complicated political history (I think she used to be far right but is now progressive on alot of issues but her military background and views on Israel make her very decisive). However, my problems comes from sexualizing her, I like how sexy the picture is but at the same time I feel guilty about viewing her in such a way (Innocent or not), I like her progressive policies but it feels like I'm diminishing her (Correct or not) since women in politics have had issues with being objectified and their opinions going unheard. Even considering that I dislike her Hawkishness, it feels like I'm dismissing her as "Pretty woman in a tight dress" should I see her as sexy (thoughts on the looks of the real person [withheld]) and that's not how one should deal with representatives whose positions on certain issues you dislike. Sorry, went into a rant there.

I think we don't need to be guilty for this. Anyone can be sexy and beautiful. It's not our fault. Besides they are also trying to be like that. Maybe we should just separate the person from the profession in our mind.
I have a lot of people that I don't like very much like professionals, but still can accept that persons damn hot.
