Description 8/30/12: I generally don't care much for Cadillacs (except SD7/9s) but this cool car rocks...I believe it's a 1950...and of course needs restoration!

WANT! I'd clean it up and drive it every day! Always thought the rounded tail fins were more attractive than the sharper fins they adopted later on. Plus the front bumper looks like it has boobies... Saw one of these once in El Cajon (near San Diego) with a camper shell grafted on. The contrast of 1950's chrome excess and boxy, cheap generic camper was pretty striking

It is a 1956 Cadillac Sedan de Ville.
Restore it and paint it pink like the song 'Pink Cadillac' and go "oozin' down the street".

I looked it up and it seemed to match a 50. But I'm better at ID-ing locomotives than cars!

It's those big chrome dagmars sticking out the front, that separate it from other years...
That's good to know about locomotives...I have a few I need ID'd later...

I'll double check...compared to cars, Diesel locomotives are easy to ID!
