1/31/87: A Conrail transfer does a headroom move at LaVergne, Berwyn, Illinois. A winter melancholy trainscape and I still remember this day 30 years later. Oh to still be 21 and have interesting railroads and motive power and energy!From scanned 35mm negative

Very awesome shot. My had just found out that she was pregnant with me when this shot was taken.
Trains were used a lot more 30 years ago than they're used nowadays over here in the Northeast.
