Description 4/18/17: Ignominious ending...Don't know why Iowa Pacific Iniana rail service was stopped in faor of (YAWN) Amtrak generic blandness but passenger GP40 4137 sits canted on a siding in ElkGroveVillage... the trend, if there's any diversity or uniqueness in N. Amerikan railroading (or anything else for that matter...) let's obliterate it!

Oh, ok. I believe I know where the Hoosier State train set was stored in Indianapolis, and this kinda looked like that area

I saw it near a shed near the Amtrak repair facility in Beech grove, not in the actual repair shop, but near a shed about 100 yards from a grain elevator in the area

Yet the country preaches all the values of "Capitalism" while they allow all these companies to devour the smaller competition. Yet for the idea of it to work, you need diversity in industry, you need competition for it to work.

It's not true Capitalism, IMO: but rather a warped parasitic hyperCapitalism which devours the small and different for a generic boring corporatized world. Everything's about profit... for a few. It's called neoLiberalism and I hate it
