Tools / Features used in Adobe Photoshop:

pen tool; gaussian blur; paths palette/paths; smudge tool; noise filter on area on top of nose;

Paint brushes used:

Most of the brushes I used are the standard ones which ship with Photoshop. Photoshop comes with a couple of grass brushes, which I used, but for some variety, I also took a set of freebie grass brushes from Brusheezy.

I used the pencil tool, set to 1 or 2 diameter, for the fine fur in the ears, and blurred parts of it slightly. I also used the pencil tool for the whiskers.

I also used a freebie set for some of the fur (mostly the black stripes). Credit for that: Brusheezy .
