i thought the music video for this amazing song was probably about the "main" character's transformation of sorts into something he probably doesn't want to be, and how the bird is probably the "demon" he is a) turning into or b) running away from. and of course he is the so called worm. o.o
of course, in my head, it makes perfect sense, and involves vamps.
