Description
This is a Passiflora flower. a medical and decorative plant I keep in my home.It reminds me that being different, generally, doesn't have to mean that you're something bad or evil or negative for this world.
So this is what I give to Who gave me this 3 moth gift and likes my art, no matter how different my vision of art is.
Art was meant to be different, so why not try and make others understand Your different view of Art?

Anyway... I really like the light in this one. Surround light, with soft shadows. Don't use flash unless you really have to! The light in this photo is just perfect.
I love the contrasts in colour. Purple goes really well against green because they're cold and warm colours respectively.
The depth of field is exciting. You have interesting stuff both in foreground and background without losing focus on your main object: the beautiful passion flower.
Last but not least: I prefer looking at photos of flowers captured from the same height as the flower. Get level with your object like you've done here - if it's a flower, get down on your knees!! e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b… " width="15" height="15" alt="

Regarding this pic, A group admin said that they won't accept it because: "This picture is quite noisy and not enought unique."
Not Enough Unique? Well not everyone searches for unique things or perfection.

Well, art appreciation is subjective after all and it's true that the photo is a bit cluttered with... everything... but personally I really don't mind! You just hang in there, and do your thing. Others won't always like it. That's just the way it is.

I really love this pic because In this photo I really think that I've succeeded with one of my experiments that I've been trying for some time. A total success!
I agree about the flash, I do try to use it as less as possible, because I prefer natural light instead. And I love the effect that shadows can give, so I try my best to use those too.
Some admis or just photography artists on dA say that I have to work more on my focusing the subject or subjects of my photos and try to make them look more interesting.
I'm no pro photographer, I'm just a photo passionate so I'm trying to make my photos likeable, but not necessarily spectacular, I'm just having fun with my photo camera, I'm not looking for fame or fortune from my photos. I'm looking for a pleasurable view for everyone to enjoy. That's all.
Yes, when it's about flowers I do prefer to lower myself to their height level, or at least as much as possible so I can get a better view of it in all it's splendour.

It's not the I didn't accept Myself as An Artist, but on the other site I use to publish my writings, no one seemed to care but very few, while here comments and advice pure from each angle!
I feel like someone cares for what I find to be art and I find myself among other that see it my way too, or make me see different ways.
I feel more appreciated, thing I didn't feel before deviant.

I understand now perfectly well.....I think we are lucky to be here... I still have problems "accepting myself" as an artist as such... but here... I am starting to view myself and what I do differently.... In any event.... I love your captures, since the beginning, and this may be a very personal thing to "some"... but as you say... here there is room TO BE WHAT WE ARE....
