Edit: wanna do things in greyscale more so I can drop in colors over it.Dont think i ever tried it before or just a few times so whenever i get done with these commissions im gonna try some stuff.Done in tablet mode

how does this greyscale painting work? Like, set a layer and fill it with greys, then add some multiply and screen/luminosity layers on top and bucket in the color? If so, I also find that quite interesting.

I really like this sketch. The expression makes us infer defiance or indifference, but the pose is a power pose, so I wouldn't mess with the character!

yeah basically.its doing all the values before adding color so to make things more simple.Then you just drop a color layer over the values and there you go sorta.Its helps with simplifying things when coloring alot.saves time quite a bit using this method,but its still seeig values and whatnot so its not necessarily easy.Found thisΒ www.youtube.com/watch?v=jsZBIi…
