Are those giant beetle carvings on that wall? Now that's interesting and unique. I can honestly say I've never heard of anyone using beetles as an integral creature in their deity worship. Cool effect with the waterfall crashing upon the rocks and all that dangling moss draped across the stone. Yet another amazing piece!

Scarabs were a large part of the ancient egyptian religion.Β one of their sun gods was an anthropomorphic scarab.Β i dont know if they worshiped the actual beetles but they compared how they roll dung balls to how the sun must be rolledΒ across the sky.

Interesting. I knew scarabs were important to the ancient Egyptians, though I had no idea about their religious significance. I'll have to look into that a little deeper now that I've been informed. Thanks!
