Description
I find myself switching between drawing/shading with the pencil point, (left page) and the side of the pencil (right page). Not sure which I like best, but allows for some variety. Side of the pencil feels more like painting, since you're using a wedge shape to lay in the values.Related content

Thanks so much, I appreciate you viewing my work and making such gracious compliments!! People do stare, and sometimes they'll approach to see what you're up to. It can be difficult to sketch someone without having them notice or start to feel uncomfortable. The best tip I can give you? Learn to sketch FAST! That way you only spend a few short minutes (or seconds) scrutinizing your subject, before you move on and leave them unaware that you were even looking. I enjoy the texture's that both styles seem to pervey. The side of the pencil looks much smoother in comparison to the point, to me. :]
