  Laine is often over-confident when it comes to her abilities. She thinks she can do things that she really isn’t very capable of. However, she is also ambitious. She wants to be known worldwide for her discoveries and contributions to mankind. Therefore, Laine is very picky as well (if she’s going to do great things, she believes they must be done right). She is intelligent and clever, making her a good strategist and problem solver when she encounters enemies while travelling in the forest. In addition, she is inconsiderate when it comes to dealing with people. She often doesn't know how to communicate with people due to spending much of her time by herself and some times can come off as quite rude. But if you ask her to help you, she will always come through due to her diligent nature.

History:
  Laine used to live in a small town as an only child. Both her parents were busy people who were acclaimed alchemists, leaving her home alone a lot. She grew up staying within her house and self-teaching herself magic and medicine through the books that her parents would leave around the house. One particular book caught her eye about the use of herbs in new types of potions and medicines. Intrigued, Laine seeked out her parents' opinion about this but was told that herbs were worthless and instead new ingredients would be sought out, not the same, boring items alchemists had used in the past. However, Laine believed differently. Perhaps her parents needed to learn a thing or two about making new out of old. This sparked a flame in Laine's eyes and led her to move out at 19 to try to prove her parents wrong.

She travelled from town to town as a healer with odd jobs and even attempted to grow a garden in one city, but learned she was hopeless in actually taking care of things other than herself. She ended up usually bored or dissatisfied with her results and always decided to move. Yet one day, she stumbled upon Prima, a town surrounded by a dense forest with much to discover. It was fate; she knew she had to move in. She was ecstatic and prepared and a little..lost about where to start. Laine decided to begin again in her search, buying a new journal to record her findings, since she wasn't pleased with what she already had anyways. It was a clean slate, and Laine was determined to make a statement on it.

Additional Info:

  - Is currently trying to devise a map of Treant Forest
  - A fan of running away in battle (but will fite with basic attack spells + strategy if she needs to)
  - Laine keeps all her collection written in one large book that she carries around everywhere in her bag along with various items that help her collect herbs
  - She hopes to open a clinic one day
  - Really enjoys tea !!
