I love Lackadaisy and I rather ship these too as well;Even Viktor would approve of Freckle and Ivy being together if he saw his almost worrying high proficiency as the club's latest triggerman!Color palette wise there wasn't too much thought into Ivy's red dress beyond being inspired by Ada Wong of Resident Evil fame since I loved those games when I was younger and the blue finish alongside the fantastical heart shaped light were inspired by the aesthetic of the groovy Lackadaisy T-Shirt which I love the look of and own. 83
Also guns are royally hard to draw! Here's a fun fact since it's a romantic doodle of them wreaking mayhem,The Colt 1911 Ivy has and the Thompson submachine gun Freckle is wielding actually use the same caliber of ammo,.45 rounds!
Freckle and Ivy belong to the awesome . I know I'm so scatterbrained motivation wise with what I do art-wise,but I'm really happy that I did a Lackadaisy piece I'm super happy with for all the inspiration it's given me! Bear in mind I'd love to draw even more of these wonderful characters as with countless other fun things.
