I thought it was amazing its a bit rough around the edges though. That shadowing is great I just wish I could draw that good. I like the word sonic very much it is absolutely awesome. the gloves seem a bit too pink for me though. The leg on my left is a bit not fully colored down lower. the purple and blue look good together, but I would like to see yet another color. please keep improving and don't forget to eat gummibears and cupcakes along the way! Maybe you should check out my sister I believe something along the lines of Undead Puppeteer.

Okay, so first, I love the cool, icy colors used in this. They give the drawing a simple yet interesting effect. I also like the way you didn't use the color black to outline Sonic like most fan artists do, which makes it very unique and not too heavy. It would do great as a bedroom poster or something like that. ^^
The only problem I can see in this, is that the lines are a little bit wobbly and bumpy, if that's the way to describe it. e.deviantart.net/emoticons/a/a⦠" width="19" height="19" alt="
But other than that, the picture is perfect. (And the eyes - I love the eyes. *v* )

okay i love sonic and characters so my brother know i like sonic so its awesome so i go to you tube and SO AWESOME THAT I LIKE SONIC so my brother watch Sonic's Insanity so its creepy then i was at the living room and STILL WATCHING SONIC.EXE (creepy) okay. now i am watching sonic heroes and now i play sonic. exe then everyone died so i lose the game said game over then ITS CREEPY WHEN YOU PLAY IT okay now this is weird that my brother is making a sonic mask for me and i like it.

I gotta say all your works speak to me in a way but this one speaks to me alot more then a few of your pieces of art the one and only word i can say about this artwork is "The Magical shade." its a breath taking piece as the least,I give you these words for the artwork you've done in the past and to now "Your artwork speaks to me in a way that no one else's art could, your artwork is breath taking every time i see it...keep up the Breath taking work Sonia!"

Wow, nice piece I gotta say!
I don't draw lots of Sonic Fan art, but I really like this piece! It's the simplicity I love about it the most. Now, I liked how you didn't outline everything either. Sometimes the outlines can look harsh and whatnot and could ruin the drawing.
Now, if I had suggestions, I'd add some yellow. I think you used really nice cool colors (Blue and purple), but you also used a warmer hue of green (it seems yellow-green), so, I'd add a tint of yellow. Maybe just to the areas where it's usually peach toned? It'd give a warmer tone I guess overall to the picture, and plus, there wouldn't be so much use of white. If that's the style (which I'm not sure if it is or not), then you could leave out the tint yellow - I just think it'd add another color and you wouldn't see so much white.
From the shading of the head and behind the ears, I think that the shading in that area could confuse where the light source really is. The body and face show that the light source is coming from the right side of the picture. The shadings at the ear and top of the head make it look as if the light is coming from the viewer's perspective. So, almost half of the head would be shaded purple. The shading to the right of the ear wouldn't even be there (unless you wanted to outline the ear a little bit).
I'd say, great job on the piece - I really enjoy it! I'm sure other do as well. c: I hope you find my critique helpful! =]

i see where your coming from in terms of the ear shading. though i wanted you to be able to see a slight outline of the ear xD i drew it kinda late at night so mistakes can be made.
also about the colouring.
i wanted it to be just blue colours apart from his eyes. so that was done on purpopse xD and i wouldn't really want to add any other colours as that was the style i was looking for.
