I painted this picture on the free downloadable program gimp. It took me about 8.5 hours to complete, hope you all like!Related content

Less than 9 hours with a mouse? That's pretty cool man. I wish I could draw that fast. Also, mouse painting is pretty hard, if you get a tablet you could probably pop one of these out in 4 hours or so.
Just a couple of things that made me double-take when looking at this;
the sara sword is held flat to the view, but cuts at an angle into the bricks.
The light looks a little too yellow on the grill of the helm, considering there is a white light source.
If that is sunlight coming through the windows, the back wall looks a little too close for the light to be so far angled away from eachother. Or you may have simply forgotten to put all the nasty perspective of the floor bricks in.
Other than that, job well done and keep up the great art!

Like I said, iv'e gotten really tired of drawing with a mouse..... most of the perspective errors and unevenness is caused by me trying to draw without a tablet......... Ill probably do a remake of this same picture in the future when I do actually have a wacom tablet.

This is wonderful! It's all so good! I have to tell you, though, I'm such a bibliophile, the book is my favorite part. SWEET. I just want to sneak in there and steal it. I'd bring it back after I read it a few times.

The blue and gold stand out prominently against the brown backdrop. The gold hilt appropriately draws attention to the character and pose. It looks really great, nice work.

I find it somewhat Ironic; Verac is one of the Barrows, and aren't they the warriors of Zamorak?

The Barrows brothers were legendary Saradomist warriors, but they fell to a curse. You can read about it in the Crumbling Tome, which can be obtained from the house east of the Barrows entrance.

Yea I noticed that the lighting was off myself... but I had already basically completed the piece, and I was too lazy to go and fix... soooooooo..... yea. lol. ty for the helpful comments, I always enjoy some positive feedback and criticism.
