I never realized this version of the marks had a slightly blue tint, guess you learn something new everyday!

I do not understand what you mean by the blue tint. The acft is overall gull grey, the sna of my color slide may not be entirely correct. Β Glad you liked the shot!

I was referring to the tail art, which I always assumed to be black and gold. Its rare to find clear pictures of this version so it makes for great reference.

I love the Tomcats. Β My mom has pictures of me at a week old sitting in the cockpit of one. Β So sad what the government is doing to them. Β They certainly are things of beauty.

Since the Iranians are the only other operator, it is wise to keep spare parts out of their hands. I am glad I was around to see the jets in service.
