Funny thing to think that a gun-runner would later become a presidential plane - it's more a story you'd expect about a Connie somewhere in Central-America, not of a 707 in the USA! XD

Not really. The USAF needed low time/ lo cycle airframes for the E-8 program.

They were quite smoky too, like the B-52's. A few P-3's in the background too.

At the time, the P-3B's were being retired. I did not shoot many of them becuase the marks were scrubbed.

I forgot about hose. I remember the P-2's in their bright colours though, and the Martin Mars, now that was some aeroplane.

I shot a few P2 fire bombers back in the day. They were very pretty airplanes.
