Simple, but effective. I appreciate the approximative colors painted by the blur caused by the poor light. Her tights with shiny leggings are incredibly well defined. And the skins, so funny ! It looks amazingly surprised, or this is just its natural size of eyeballs...

Seems I owe you a critique.
Looking at the rest of your gallery, in which I see some excellent concepts and or captures, sometimes confronting, exciting, exuding emotion, and thought provoking; I find this, which in my humble opinion is the least of your works being given a DD when so much else of your art screams out for one yet remains unrewarded.
For a start, this is badly out of focus (unless you wished it so, and I cannot understand why you would), It is of a wall. a carpet, half a plastic panted body & a cat (who looks decidedly uncomfortable). It looks like one of those photo's people take when they are partying, are drunk, or are bored and want to do silly things and annoy the cat at the same time. I get the pun about 'Pussy'-cat (been done to death before), and find it banal at best. I am having trouble working out if the model is female or male (if I could, maybe I could find some sort of hidden meaning? Not that it matters I suppose, because to me it is all about the poor bloody cat! While I take it no harm came to any cat and or cat's while making this photo, the poor thing definitely looks like it is not enjoying it's work at all. In the other piece you did with this model & cat which from memory was titled 'All about the plug'? I wonder if the plug is still behind where the cat is and if it's tail has slipped into the socket? The posing also causes concern in me as to the relationship of the cat and the inuendo's as to the humans preferences and their relationship to the animal? But I feel it better not to go there. I am already being criticized by some commentors here for having the temerity to have my own opinion at all, let alone
on why so many much better of your works have missed out on DD's & this one has got one? So I will just say the cat's expression causes me to have some reservations for it's well being.
Your talent as a photographer is without question, it is just that this one does not reflect this, at least it does not, in my humble opinion, and I am no expert, nor even talented in photography, prefering to just try and keep my pics in focus and of simple subject matter.

Lets put it like this - most people would have the sense to read the FAQ, then make some form of apology or admit to not knowing the regs or not respond at all so as not to further exasperate the situation ... you did neither and still ascertain that questioning an art work that got a DD has no DD value is a critique.
You still do not seem to grasp that this is not the place to voice your opinion on what does and does not get a DD (more than likely due to you not reading the FAQ)
